Francesca Bonaita (Milan, Italy, June 1997), graduated at 17 with honours in Conservatoire of Milan under the guidance of Prof. Gabriele Baffero, obtaining the prestigious Prize Pina Carmirelli 2015 as the best violinist graduated in the academic year. She entered the Interpretation and Performance Course at Conservatoire in Lugano, University School of Music, Swisse, and she studies with Prof. Sergej Krylov accepted at Master of Arts in Music Performance.
Since 2014 she has been also studying at International Academy W. Stauffer in Cremona with Prof. Salvatore Accardo, attended the Perfectioning Course at Chigiana Academy in Siena. She attended violin Masterclasses with Sergej Krylov, Dmitri Chichlov, Ilya Grubert, Francesco Manara and P. Vernikov’s High Perfectioning at Fiesole Music School. She played as solo artist, in recital and with orchestra, and as chamber musician, for several festivals in important halls, in Italy and abroad – in England, Germany, Swisse, Greece – the most recent include Teatro degli Arcimboldi, Teatro Dal Verme, Auditorium Fondazione Cariplo, Palazzo Durini in Milan, Palazzo Barolo Torino, Palazzo Chigi Saracini Siena, Teatro Ponchielli in Omaggio a Cremona, in ensemble with the famous cellist Rocco Filippini.
She won the first prize in several International Competitions – International Valsesia Musica Juniores, European Music Competition Moncalieri, European International Competition Fondazione Pescetto, “Premio Crescendo” Florence, 7th International Music Competition Rhodes, XIX Rassegna Migliori Diplomati d’Italia, Castrocaro Premio Marco Allegri obtaining also the Audience Prize In 2016 she won overall First Prize at Competition Fondazione Milano C. Abbado, International Competition Soloist.eu, Vienna; as winner at 7th Premio Francesco Geminiani Verona, she has been given a commodatum violin of High italian stringed instruments production (Giuseppe Sgarbi, Roma 1886); First Prize at International “Premio E. Cremonesi” in chamber music duo piano violin; overall winner in category at Val Tidone International Music Competition, Young talent string section; First Prize at American Protégé International Concerto Competition 2016, Professionals Category, invited to play in Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall of New York, in November 2016.
